Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and track beverage usage to minimize waste and control costs
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with flavor combinations to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy using POS systems, perform basic math calculations for billing, and manage cash handling responsibilities
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer styles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, catering events, banquet service, or retail math is highly desirable
- Knowledge of beverage development, food industry standards, and hospitality best practices is a plus
