The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison client to hire a Cloud Architect. This is a one year contract-to-hire opportunity
As a senior architect, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions to support business transformation in a multi-cloud environment. Leverage your AWS cloud architecture expertise to be a key influencer to guide this organization in its digital transformation journey.
Location: Madison, Wisconsin (hybrid). Must be currently located in the Madison, Wisconsin, area.
Comp: $80-84/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive cloud strategy and adoption, aligning technology with business goals.
- Architect high-performing, resilient cloud infrastructures.
- Champion security and compliance, implementing robust controls and governance.
- Optimize performance and cost through modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
- Collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and present solutions to leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security.
- Expertise in AWS and multi-cloud environments required.
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), DevOps, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to bridge technical and business conversations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary : $80 - $84
