The QTI Group is partnering with a manufacturing client located in Rock County to hire their next Production Planner. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Planner will be responsible for managing, coordinating and optimizing the organization’s production schedule. The Production Planner plays an integral role in the ability to meet customer needs, maintain workflow efficiency and support on-time delivery of products. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, labor availability and inventory levels
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure schedule optimization and resolve any scheduling conflicts
- Manage material and component planning to ensure scheduled production projects are unaffected
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, scheduling and material flow
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred)
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
