Position Overview
Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting which may include both clinical and front desk duties.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant or LPN - and/or two years experience in a clinical setting
- Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
- Administering Medication
- Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
- Computer proficient
Location and Hours of Position
PHN Greenville Community Health Center 348 Main Street Greenville Pa 16125
The general office hours for this position are:
Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm possibility of a late night on Tuesdays until 8:00pm, not to exceed 40 hours a week
NO WEEKENDS
Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour for a Medical Assistant, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
