As a Front Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position is essential in supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
- Handle insurance verification processes to ensure accurate patient billing.
- Maintain and organize medical records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and schedule appointments effectively.
- Assist with medical coding as needed for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments.
- Provide information about services and procedures to patients, enhancing their understanding of care options.
- Support the overall operations of the medical office by performing various administrative tasks.

Qualifications
- EMR experience
- Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a front desk role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical records management.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to operate phone systems and scheduling software efficiently.
- Experience with Practice Fusion or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
