Project Controls Specialist I/II
Location: Raleigh, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist I/II to support cost and scheduling activities for project teams in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid role requires a strong foundation in project controls, including scheduling, cost management, estimating, change control, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
Candidates must currently be local to the Raleigh area. Preference will be given to candidates with direct Project Controls experience rather than experience based primarily on transferable skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with project scheduling, cost controls, estimating, forecasting, and change management
- Develop and maintain project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts
- Track project scope, schedule, and cost changes and support formal change control processes
- Perform schedule variance, earned value, and critical path analysis
- Generate recurring project controls analytics, reports, and performance metrics
- Collect, verify, validate, and analyze project data to identify trends and potential performance issues
- Develop and maintain project estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs
- Track project status and communicate cost and schedule performance to Project Managers
- Support project controls benchmarking, self-assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain effective working relationships with project teams and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Project Controls and scheduling principles
- Direct experience supporting project cost and/or scheduling activities
- Experience with project schedules, cost controls, estimating, forecasting, change management, and variance analysis
- Ability to work with project data and develop accurate project controls reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with Project Managers and cross-functional teams
- Must currently reside in the Raleigh, NC area
- Ability to work onsite three days per week
Required Technical Skills
- Primavera P6 experience required
- Microsoft Excel experience required
