Job Details: Workday Organizational Change Management
Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to lead the change management strategy for a large scale Workday HCM and Financials implementation. This individual will serve as the dedicated change management lead throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with executive leadership, project stakeholders, and functional teams to drive organizational readiness, user adoption, and successful implementation outcomes. This is a long term contract engagement beginning immediately and extending through implementation, go live, and post go live hypercare.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Organizational Change Management workstream throughout the entire Workday implementation lifecycle.
• Develop and execute the overall change management strategy and roadmap.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive Change and Communications Playbook.
• Partner with executive leadership, department leaders, and project stakeholders to understand organizational impacts and business challenges.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate discovery sessions across functional departments.
• Perform change readiness assessments and identify organizational risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies and recommendations to address adoption risks and resistance to change.
• Create executive presentations, communication plans, and organizational messaging.
• Participate in project meetings to proactively identify potential organizational challenges and provide strategic guidance.
• Establish governance processes surrounding organizational readiness and change adoption.
• Collaborate closely with the Workday implementation partner and internal project leadership.
• Support training strategy and user adoption initiatives.
• Provide ongoing guidance through testing, deployment, go live, and hypercare
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have led 2 full-cycle WD Implementations within the Healthcare sector
• Experience supporting Workday HCM implementations. Experience with Workday Financials is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing enterprise communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Experience conducting organizational impact analyses and change readiness assessments.
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into actionable change management strategies.
Preferences:
• Experience leading Organizational Change Management for large healthcare organizations.
• Experience supporting organizations through digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Prosci, ADKAR, or other formal change management methodologies.
• Workday implementation consulting experience with a Workday Services partner or certified Workday consultancy.
ERP Environment:
They are currently on EPIC & Infor/Lawson, and they are in the process of selecting their Workday Implementation partner. They plan on fully consolidating their systems and utilizing both the HCM & FINS WD software.
