Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics.
- Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a production welding role, preferably within manufacturing.
- Ability to inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
- AWS certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with robotic welding or automated welding systems.
- AWS D1.1 or other specialized welding certifications.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
