Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and procedures for manufactured products.
- Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing of components and finished goods.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and document findings.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and implement automated test solutions to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
- Participate in product reviews and contribute to design for testability efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and procedures for manufactured products.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, performance, regression, environmental).
- Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C#).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, document, and resolve product defects.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) for manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and related testing challenges.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and its application in quality testing.
- Experience with test automation for embedded systems in manufacturing equipment.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they apply to connected manufacturing devices.
