Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from design to full-scale production.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Specify, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis of manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex manufacturing issues and implement solutions.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and automated systems.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with discrete event simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, C#, VBA) for automation or data analysis
- Hands-on experience with robotics programming or industrial automation systems
- Experience with ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) implementation or advanced module optimization
