Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor quality inspection teams and technicians.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Oversee and maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audit processes.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for production and quality personnel.
- Monitor key quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. ASQ certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive effective problem-solving activities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Familiarity with APQP and PPAP processes
