Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF) and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality non-conformances.
- Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are integrated into design and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with core quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D).
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with MES or ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
