Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train quality control personnel and inspectors.
- Ensure adherence to product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and conduct root cause analysis for non-conforming materials and customer complaints.
- Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, CAPAs, and calibration logs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and industry-specific quality standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced quality tools.
- Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485).
