Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection procedures and standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to established quality specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
- Facilitate internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience.
- Proficiency with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a quality team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent Lean/CI methodology expertise
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar relevant QMS
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis
- Experience in supplier quality management and development
