Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train quality control personnel and technicians.
- Oversee all quality control processes, inspections, and testing activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO).
- Investigate product non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection records.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report on quality performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product quality.
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and MSA.
- Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology).
- Familiarity with various inspection methods, metrology equipment, and blueprint reading.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with specific QMS software (e.g., SAP QM, MasterControl)
- Internal or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
- Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis tools or software (e.g., Minitab)
