Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for process monitoring and improvement.
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing processes.
- Investigate customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of preventive measures.
- Manage measurement system analysis (MSA) and calibration programs for production equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
- Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and data-driven problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949)
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems for quality data management
