Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Develop and implement strategies for material procurement, storage, and distribution.
- Oversee demand planning and forecasting processes to align material supply with production schedules.
- Lead supplier relationship management, performance monitoring, and negotiation for raw materials.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records and material master data within the ERP/MRP system.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, logistics, and warehousing operations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales to support new product introductions and production targets.
- 5 years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in inventory control, demand planning, forecasting, and production scheduling.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
- Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics
- Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization
