Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts and inventory targets.
- Balance production capacity with customer demand, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Coordinate with sales, production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure schedule adherence and material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust production plans to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material shortages.
- Analyze production performance data and recommend improvements to scheduling processes.
- Manage lead times and production flows to meet on-time delivery targets.
- 5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for planning and scheduling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production, sales, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software beyond standard ERP modules.
- Experience developing and utilizing data visualization dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain metrics.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
