Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets.
- Balance production capacity with demand to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to align production plans with business objectives.
- Monitor schedule adherence, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain production flow.
- Analyze material availability and lead times, integrating them into the production schedule to prevent shortages.
- Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize costs while meeting demand.
- Lead weekly scheduling meetings to review performance, address issues, and finalize upcoming production plans.
- 5 years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for planning and scheduling.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar process improvement methodology.
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO, Oracle ASCP).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel modeling for scenario planning.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Project management experience, particularly in system implementations or process optimization initiatives.
