Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial reporting, including month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
- Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Direct cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency with advanced data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications.
- Experience with ERP system implementations or significant upgrades within a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to international accounting standards (IFRS) or multi-currency financial reporting.
