Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, breakdowns, and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems on production lines.
- Conduct precision adjustments and calibrations to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Proficiency in basic welding or machining for fabrication and repair.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
