Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile all general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments for raw materials and operating expenses.
- Handle accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and collection activities.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and assist with cost of goods sold calculations.
- Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Demonstrated understanding of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and job costing in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP Business One) and ERP systems common in manufacturing.
- Ability to accurately prepare financial statements and support month-end/year-end close processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and data entry.
- Experience with inventory costing and tracking.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
