About the Position
The Product Specialist is instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business objectives, with an initial focus on enhancing the firm’s Salesforce platform. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams including software engineering, UX/UI design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality IT products and features that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities (primary and secondary duties):
- Work with Community Impact program staff to obtain a thorough understanding of program functions and processes; identify growth and improvement opportunities; and define project needs
- Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Support the full product lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance
- Conduct market and technology research to identify emerging trends and recommend innovative solutions
- Create and maintain product documentation, including technical requirements, workflows, and user guides
- Monitor product performance and implement enhancements based on analytics and user feedback.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards throughout development.
- Assist in managing Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain backlog prioritization.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in IT product development, software development, or technical project management
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and product management principles
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as Salesforce, Azure, AWS, and Microsoft are preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (SFDC, AWS, or Azure).
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
