Role Overview
The HRIS Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of the Workday HRIS platform. This position leads a team of HRIS professionals, ensuring system integrity, security, and reporting excellence to support the organization's HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, EIBs, and reports
- Oversee daily HRIS operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor and optimize departmental productivity, workflows, and resource utilization
- Lead and develop HRIS team members, providing mentorship and growth opportunities
- Manage security access, data integrity, and system configurations across all environments
- Maintain and document integrations between HRIS and other business systems
- Support project management efforts for system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations
- Provide third-level support for HRIS-related technical issues and user inquiries
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to scope and deliver effective technology solutions
- Stay current on HR technology trends and regulations, recommending relevant system and process improvements
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8 years of HRIS experience, with significant expertise in Workday systems
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong project management and multitasking capabilities
- Deep knowledge of HR processes, and experience with system configuration, integration, and upgrades
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- SQL knowledge is a plus
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Workday payroll, leaves, and time modules
- Hands-on experience with Workday security administration and business process design
- Knowledge of viEval or other HR data validation tools
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Access

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
