DISPATCHER
The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local Metro Detroit area for the past 40 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 16 years, and they are looking for an experienced Dispatcher for a possible Contract-to-Hire opportunity at their Romulus, MI location.
Position Details:
- Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
- Shift: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Must be open to working either day or afternoon shift as needed
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Dispatcher Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and clients
- Perform accurate and timely data entry
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and reporting
- Update and maintain customer websites
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams
- Enter and maintain accurate information in company systems
- Assist with dispatching and coordinating daily operations
Dispatcher Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous customer service and/or dispatch experience preferred
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and dependable
- Must be flexible and willing to work the assigned schedule
