Warehouse Associate
The Phillip Charles Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client, a leading automotive supplier located in Plymouth, MI. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements. Responsibilities include picking and pulling orders, staging materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and supporting overall warehouse operations and cleanliness.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 3:30pm
Occasional Saturday overtime may be available.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and containers for shipping and receiving
- Put away incoming product and materials
- Pick and pull customer orders accurately
- Generate, scan, and apply labels to cartons
- Accurately scan inbound and outbound materials
- Run reconciliation reports to verify receiving transactions
- Verify outbound shipments against paperwork and customer requirements
- Assist with stock rotation (FIFO), DANCO, and warehouse organization
- Support general warehouse maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Assist with a repacking project
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
