Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers in employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Handle claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour and ERISA matters
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings and trials
- Draft pleadings, motions and legal memoranda
- Manage discovery processes and case strategy development
- Support internal investigations and employment counselling matters
- Work with clients on complex and sensitive employment issues
- 3–5 years of employment litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g. Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA)
- Experience with motion practice, depositions and discovery
- Trial experience is a plus
- Judicial clerkship experience preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Admitted to the Florida Bar
