Litigation & Enforcement Associate
Location: Seattle, WA
A leading global law firm is seeking a 2nd-4th year Litigation & Enforcement Associate to join its market-leading Fintech and Financial Advisory practice (multiple offices). This is an excellent opportunity to advise financial services clients across sophisticated litigation, government investigations and regulatory enforcement matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and clients on matters involving federal and state regulators, with exposure to consumer financial services and payments issues particularly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
Salary Range: $235,000 – $310,000 (DOE)
Eligible attorneys may also receive an annual discretionary merit bonus based on firm and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent financial services clients in litigation, government investigations and enforcement matters
- Manage all stages of litigation discovery
- Respond to government subpoenas and civil investigative demands
- Coordinate document collection and work directly with client custodians
- Assist with negotiations with government enforcement attorneys
- Prepare client advocacy materials in connection with investigations
- Participate in witness and client interviews and depositions
- Draft legal memoranda, motions, briefs, pleadings and settlement agreements
- Develop litigation and settlement strategies for federal and state court matters
- Research federal and state consumer financial services laws and regulations
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, regulatory risk and business operations
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Litigation and/or government enforcement experience required
- Consumer financial services and/or payments experience preferred
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Highly motivated, creative and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- J.D. required
- Active membership of the State Bar for the relevant office required
