Key Responsibilities
- Draft appellate briefs and submissions for federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on statutory, constitutional, and administrative issues.
- Assist in developing appellate strategy and coordinating with trial teams on preservation of key issues.
- Participate in client meetings and case discussions with partners and senior counsel.
- Contribute to a team recognised for its excellence in written and oral advocacy.
- 2–4 years of appellate litigation experience, preferably at a top-tier firm or government agency.
- Strong familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act and related regulatory frameworks preferred.
- Federal appellate clerkship experience is highly valued; current judicial clerks are encouraged to apply.
- Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional legal writing skills.
- Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible for admission.
