Position Summary
The Facilities Manager/Supervisor is responsible for maintaining, improving, and overseeing all building systems, critical infrastructure, and production equipment. This role requires hands-on technical ability combined with leadership skills to support a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, electrical, plumbing, and security.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse production equipment, including furnaces, etching lines, vacuum systems, and CNC/precision machinery.
- Lead or supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providers.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Support equipment moves, installations, and utility setups.
- Manage facility improvement projects, including expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and work with Purchasing to order supplies and service contracts.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support process needs.
- Maintain accurate facility records, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Respond to emergency facility and equipment issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
- Experience managing or working with a wide variety of equipment (e.g., high-temperature furnaces, vacuum systems, wet processing lines, HVAC, compressed air).
- Supervisory or leadership experience a plus.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience preferably PCB industry, Electroplating or Photo-chemical Etching.
- Hands-on work experience in working with equipment maintenance.
- Experience in wastewater treatment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Experience in chemical safety and handling, Hazardous material communication.
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Work will be performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes ·

Pay Range: $95,000 - $125,000 depending on leveled experience
