Etching/Photo Chemical Machinist - Microphoto

Microphoto located in Roseville, MI is actively recruiting for Manufacturing Etching/Photo Chemical Machinist with CNC Operator experience.

Duties:

• Read/review shop traveler for work instructions.
• Verify printed sheets.
• Monitor the etch machine modules during processing.
• Measure thickness of materials using micrometer.
• Measure critical dimensions of part against blueprints/travelers’ specifications.
• Changing of etching solution/ clean and maintenance of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Safety Considerations: Chemical exposure (eye, skin, inhalation, ingestion) sharp metal edges.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience REQUIRED.
• Prefer experience as a CNC Operator, Bridgeport, Drill Press.
• Blueprint reading ability and use of standard measuring equipment (micrometers/calipers)
• Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes.
• May require extended periods of standing or sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
