What You'll Do
- Lead Quality Excellence – Own the quality function end-to-end, ensuring all departments understand and maintain rigorous quality standards
- Manage Non-Conformance & Product Issues – Oversee product returns, evaluations, investigations, recalls, and root cause resolution
- Drive Audit Success – Coordinate internal and external audits (ISO, SQS-D, customer), maintain audit readiness, and ensure timely closure of findings
- Champion Continuous Improvement – Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies to optimize processes across functions
- Facilitate Strategic Planning – Lead Management Review meetings and monthly quality forums to track objectives and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop Quality Infrastructure – Create and maintain procedures, standards, and control documentation that ensure compliance and consistency
- Build a Quality Culture – Inspire cross-functional teams to embrace accountability, performance improvement, and operational excellence
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
- 7–10 years in quality management within manufacturing or distribution environments
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification (required)
- Proven track record hosting and managing external audits with successful outcomes
- Deep knowledge of quality methodologies: Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA, CAPA processes
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills across all organizational levels
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Ability to work in office and warehouse environments
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Extended periods sitting/standing during audits and inspections
- Some travel may be required
