Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
- Prepare and manage due diligence materials, closing checklists, and transaction timelines
- Draft and revise real estate documents, including deeds, affidavits, easements, lender forms, and closing certificates
- Coordinate recordings with Registries of Deeds and track recording information
- Assist with title review, title commitments, endorsements, and title-related documentation
- Organize and assemble closing packages, binders, and post-closing deliverables
- Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and distribution of executed documents
- Assist attorneys with lender requirements, payoff requests, and closing logistics
- Maintain organized transaction files and ensure timely completion of deadlines
- 3 years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm, title company, legal department, or related setting
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, title review, due diligence, and closing processes
- Experience preparing and recording real estate documents
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
