Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to Trusts & Estates attorneys
- Prepare, revise, and proofread estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives
- Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including document organization, court filings, and correspondence with clients, courts, and financial institutions
- Maintain and manage electronic and paper client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate document execution, notarization, and recording
- Track deadlines, court dates, and key matter milestones
- Communicate with clients in a professional and responsive manner
- Assist with billing, time entry, and general practice management tasks
- Provide additional administrative support to the practice group as needed
- Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a law firm required
- Experience with Trusts & Estates, probate, or estate planning strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management and billing systems is a plus
