What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at The Nagler Group?
- Harwich, MA (On-Site)
- $21–$25/hour
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Start Tuesday May 26th 3 Weeks to Start (Potential to Extend)
What You'll Do
- Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls
- Greet customers, contractors, truck drivers, and visitors
- Process customer orders over the phone
- Support truck weighing operations before and after shipments (training provided)
- Coordinate with contractors and drivers in a busy dispatch-style environment
- Perform data entry and general administrative support
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Keep the front office organized, professional, and welcoming
- 1–5 years of office, administrative, customer service, or front desk experience
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeQuick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Prior experience in construction, logistics, dispatch, transportation, or industrial settings is a plus
