A global healthcare organization is building out its U.S. legal and compliance function and is seeking a Contracts & Compliance Associate Attorney to support both contract lifecycle management and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role will partner closely with international teams and offers strong exposure across legal, compliance, and cross-functional business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, and service contracts
- Manage contract lifecycle activities including amendments, renewals, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO standards, data privacy requirements)
- Support compliance audits, risk assessments, and post-signature contract monitoring
- Partner with Legal, Sales, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and policies
- Maintain audit-ready records and reporting on contract activity
- JD required and admitted to practice in Massachusetts or neighboring states
- Commutable to the Metrowest MA area
- 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated healthcare environments a plus
- Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating contracts (vendor, service, or commercial agreements)
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO, HIPAA or similar)
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a detail-oriented, compliance-driven environment
