Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls as part of the front office rotation
- Take initial intake information from prospective new clients
- Open and set up new matters in the billing system
- Provide coverage for the front desk when the receptionist is out
- Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and coordinating lunch for meetings
- Support general office and legal administrative needs as assigned
- Previous experience in a law office or legal administrative environment preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Professional demeanor with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excel experience required
- Experience with legal billing software preferred but not required
