Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
- Maintain accurate client and matter information within firm systems.
- Research corporate relationships and affiliations to assist with conflict analysis.
- Coordinate with attorneys and staff to gather information and resolve conflicts.
- Manage file retrieval, archiving, retention, and records disposition processes.
- Maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with firm policies.
- Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and information governance initiatives.
- Communicate with attorneys, staff, clients, and vendors regarding records and intake matters.
- High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
- Prior law firm, conflicts, intake, records, or professional services experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
