What You’ll Do
- Manage insurance defense cases (personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, first-party property)
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; develop litigation strategy
- Conduct and defend depositions; handle motion practice in state and federal court
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Advise insurer clients on risk, claims strategy, and case resolution
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and help mentor junior associates
- 5–15 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- NH Bar admission required (MA, ME, or VT a plus)
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and trial preparation skills
- Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy abilities
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
