Key Responsibilities
- Administer leave of absence programs including FMLA, state disability, and other statutory leaves
- Coordinate LOA paperwork, track employee leave status, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide payroll support including processing timesheets, verifying payroll data, and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Facilitate new hire onboarding including processing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of I-9 and employment verification
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding leave policies, payroll questions, and onboarding processes
- Partner with management and employees to ensure smooth administration of HR programs
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience with strong focus on leave administration and payroll support
- Thorough knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and employment regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
