Civil Litigation Attorney

Pay: $110-150K Depending on Experience

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team and take ownership of a diverse caseload from client intake through resolution! This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation, courtroom experience, and direct client interaction, with the opportunity to play an active role in case strategy and management!

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Represent clients at in-person and Zoom court hearings
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw
• Manage client intake, case strategy, and ongoing client communication
• Handle e-filing, case documentation, and litigation deadlines
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other case professionals
  
  

Qualifications:

• Maine Bar License in good standing
• 3 years of litigation experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated courtroom experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
• Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Civil/Business Litigation, Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice, Probate/Trusts & Estate Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Family/Divorce, Criminal Law, or Appeals
