The Lee Group is hiring immediately for entry-level manufacturing positions at a top employer in Toano, VA. Available roles include Shipping/Receiving, Visual Inspectors, Rackers, and Sand Blasters. These are excellent opportunities for individuals who are mechanically inclined and ready to work in a hands-on, team-based environment. Training is provided — no prior experience required!
Job Responsibilities
Depending on the position, duties may include:
- Loading and unloading parts or shipments.
- Visual inspection of manufactured parts to ensure quality standards.
- Operating sandblasting equipment to clean and prep metal surfaces.
- Preparing workpieces for plating using manual or automated tools.
- Recording basic production data and reporting issues.
- Maintaining clean and safe workstations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience needed — training provided.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Regular exposure to industrial conditions including noise, heat, dust, and moving machinery.
- Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, bending, and using hand tools.
