The Lee Group is seeking dependable and hardworking Contract Custodians to join a valued client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Job Responsibilities of Contract Janitors
- Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as desks, door handles, office equipment, and phones
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Stock and maintain cleaning and supply rooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and request replenishment as needed
- Report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications of Contract Janitors
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Contract Janitors
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning products
- Must be comfortable working in various indoor environments
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
