Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational compliance efforts to ensure centers meet regulatory guidelines, licensing standards, and company policies
- Conduct regular audits and onsite inspections to assess brand standards, quality delivery, and operational consistency
- Partner with training teams to develop and deliver compliance-focused education and coaching for center staff
- Identify compliance risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
- Respond to compliance-related incidents promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
- Prepare clear reporting for leadership on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Build strong working relationships with center directors, regional leaders, and cross-functional teams
- Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to policies, processes, and systems
- Stay current on regulatory changes and childcare industry best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, Compliance Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operational compliance, childcare operations, or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of state childcare licensing standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with audits, inspections, quality assurance, or brand compliance preferred
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, health codes, and operational standards for childcare centers
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
- Strong communication and coaching abilities with comfort training onsite teams
- Proficiency with reporting and documentation software tools
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel around the NY Metro Area
