Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a preschool classroom focused on school readiness and social-emotional development.
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote literacy, STEM, and cognitive growth.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children.
- Partner with families to communicate progress, milestones, and learning goals.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required.
- Minimum 1 year of preschool teaching experience in a licensed childcare or school setting.
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing requirements for Group Teacher.
