Senior Vice President of Sales

Our client is an established, privately-held transportation and logistics company with multiple business units and a strong foothold across the East Coast. They are in an active growth phase and looking for a senior commercial sales leader to drive revenue across their fleet services division.
The Opportunity
This is a true VP-level seat with full ownership of a sales organization spanning multiple regions and branches. You'll be responsible for setting strategy, building the team, managing performance, and closing complex, long-cycle commercial deals with mid-to-large fleet operators.
What You'll Own
- Full sales strategy and execution across a multi-branch commercial division
- Annual planning — identifying new business targets, protecting the existing customer base, and hitting both aggregate and branch-level goals
- Leading, coaching, and developing a geographically dispersed team of account managers
- Supporting your team through proposals, presentations, and close
- Owning department P&L — costs, budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Reviewing and qualifying commercial deals and customer contracts before execution
- Staying sharp on market trends, competitive activity, and pricing
What We're Looking For
- 10 years in commercial fleet services or related transportation solutions
- 5 years leading sales teams in a similar environment
- Experience managing multi-region, dispersed sales organizations
- Strong track record closing complex B2B deals with operational buyers
- Bachelor's degree required
