Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

We’re seeking a Lead Engineer who excels both hands‑on and in guiding a small technical team. This is a true player‑coach role: you’ll work directly on complex technical challenges while setting direction, developing talent, and ensuring high‑quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team — mentor, set expectations, and foster a collaborative environment
• Drive projects end‑to‑end — from initial assessment and design through final delivery
• Coordinate across departments — act as the technical link ensuring clarity and alignment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex systems — including mechanical, electrical, and rotating equipment
• Develop and review technical documentation — drawings, schematics, and supporting materials
• Improve processes and quality — continuously refine workflows and team capabilities
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
• 5 years of engineering experience
• Background in hands‑on technical environments preferred
  
  

Technical Skills

• Hands‑on work with mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar)
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
• Practical experience with maintenance and troubleshooting

• Proven success leading technical projects
• Strong communicator across teams and with customers
