Medical Assistant – Clinical Care (Full-Time)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM | Friday 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for supporting providers in delivering high-quality patient care by executing clinical tasks, assisting with treatments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers by accurately carrying out treatment orders and clinical instructions
- Take and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection as required
- Conduct X-rays (if certified)
- Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting
- Support and participate in daily clinical operations and patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinic setting
- Current CPR certification
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable, prompt, and professional
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Work Environment: Clinical setting (no in-home care)
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to Baton Rouge for coverage (not within the same shift)
