Description
The Judge Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.
Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Starkville, MS
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities
- Lead medium/long-term plans for electrical assets to support safety, cost, and production goals
- Manage project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Apply electrical standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.) and design best practices
- Support operations with critical systems (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators)
- Oversee design, analysis, and validation for reliability and manufacturability
- Execute multi-discipline asset improvement projects
- Perform lifecycle cost and risk analysis of equipment
- Maintain asset integrity records and ensure compliance inspections
- Drive maintenance strategies and plant reliability programs
- Monitor energy usage and capacity requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–7 years in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
- Project management experience required
- Strong power systems and high-voltage knowledge
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and ETAP preferred
- Experience in chemical or process industries is a plus
- Background in asset lifecycle/reliability engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
