Lean Practitioner - 4
Everett, WA
6 Months Contract
Position Responsibilities:
• Connect Lean principles and strategy to execution and results – mature Seek, Speak, Listen and closed loop for continuous improvement
• Develop and deploy systematic approach to capture and replicate innovations and improve best practices
• Represent Lean / continuous improvement function in Program reviews and strategic planning
• Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities
• Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles
• Develops and updates instructional materials
• Seeks out new tools and techniques
• Tailors message to specific audience level
• Guides the effective application and integration of LEAN implementation
• Leads and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts
• Develops an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment
• Leads and facilitates the improvement and standardization of enterprise policies and procedures
• Assesses business capability and capacity
• Represents the LEAN improvements function in Program reviews
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 5 years of experience implementing lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation.
• 5 years of experience planning and facilitating Lean workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, DK)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Project management certification
• Knowledge and application of the Client Production System (BPS)
• Previous experience with business case development, stakeholder alignment, benefits capture, institutionalization, and continuous improvements
Salary : $60 - $65
